Image Education Ensuring all of our young people have the opportunity for a world-class education, learning the skills and lessons to succeed as adults and lead our future. All of our young people, regardless of their zip code, deserve the opportunity for a high-quality, affordable education. Image Environment Nothing is more fundamental than the air we breathe and the water we drink. And there is nothing more important for us to do than to protect our planet for the next generation. Climate change is a grave threat to the ecological and environmental health of our nation and planet. While some chose to deny the overwhelming scientific consensus, I recognize that the failure to address this challenge will, with certainty, result in further environmental degradation and incalculable damage to the world we pass on to our children.
